History of the Red Brick Reunion Porsche Car Show

The Red Brick Reunion in Oxford, Ohio revives a beloved Porsche tradition from      2005 - 2011, when hundreds of cars filled the town’s brick streets mid summer. After the show relocated in 2011, local interest never faded, prompting Walter Chin, C. Steve Nelson, the Ohio Valley Region of the Porsche Club of America and the Oxford Visitors Bureau to bring it back. The inaugural reunion returned on June 28, 2014, with plans to rebuild the event to its former scale.

A key feature of the show is the John Dixon Honor Row, a dedicated section of registered Porsches that pays tribute to John Dixon and others who share his passion for life and helping others. Dixon was an active member of multiple Porsche Club of America regions and a strong supporter of charitable causes before his passing from cancer in 2013. In that spirit, the Red Brick Reunion supports the American Cancer Society, the nation’s largest nonprofit funder of cancer research.

Blending cars, community, and charity, the Red Brick Reunion stands as both a revival of a cherished event and a meaningful tribute to the people behind it.
